Beautiful full hunter pocket watch by H W Tisdall.
This has a beautifully engraved outer case on both the back and the front.
The watch is in good working order although I have not tested how good it is at keeping the time.
I think this watch was made at either the end of the 1800's or early 1900's as the case has the Philadelphia Watch Case Co stamped on it, this traded from 1888 until 1904.
The case appears to be rose gold plated.
The watch face has Roman numerals and the numbers for the seconds, has a slight hairline crack to the watch face, this also has Tisdall on it.
I do not know much about the company Tisdall so any comments giving a brief history would be welcomed.
