ROYAL DUX PORCELAIN LADY FIGURINE

This is a fantastic example of a Royal Dux Nude lady figurine by the renowned designer Elly Strobach.

This porcelain petite female nude lady figurine is very well designed the colours pale and subtle.

The lady has blonde hair blue eyes and is sitting in a seated position.

This is a typical Royal Dux 1930's art deco piece.

It has the sticker on the base of the statue. Also marked with the Royal Dux triangle makers mark on the base as well as "33" "711" "21" "41". It is also signed Elly Strobach.

This is in very good condition with no chips cracks or crazing.

In this condition this Royal Dux lady Figurine is valued at £100-£110

Royal Dux is the more common name for the Duxer Porzellanmanufaktur, which was founded by E. Eichler in Dux, Bohemia (now Duchov, Czech Republic), in 1860.

Elly Strobach was a top designer for Royal Dux in the late 1920's - 1930's. She is also known for her works with Doulton and others.

Bing and Grondahl Royal Copenhagen Nurses Figurine

This is a great example of a Bing and Grondahl piece of Collectable porcelain.

It is a B&G Royal Copenhagen nurses figurine model number (2379).

The nurse is measuring medicine and the colours of this figurine are typically subtle.

She has a blue shirt under a white apron and also has very pale pink skin.

This forms a very typical B&G design which looks so delicate.

It has the makers stamp on the underside as expected and stands at 9" high.

It is unboxed but is in mint condition.

Bing and Grondahl started manufacturing porcelain in 1853 by Fredrik Grondahl and brothers Meyer and Jacob Bing.

It later became known as Royal Copenhagen after its merger with the Royal Porcelain Factory.

B&G is highly sought after as too is the latter company Royal Copenhagen.

This is valued at between £190-£220

BRENDA NAYLOR BISQUE FIGURINE TESTING POINTES 1981 7"

Here is a rare 1981 Brenda Naylor bisque figurine based on the Royal Ballet and entitled "Testing Pointes".

I have looked these figurines up and I believe that they are no longer made in white bisque.

She is in mint condition with no chips, cracks, damage or restoration.

She measures roughly 7" high.
This is a fantastic ceramic figurine and should fetch a high price! It would suit anyone from those with appreciation for fine ceramics or fans of Ballet.

This really is a lovely ceramic figure.

This sold for £40.

1950's Wade tailor nursery rhyme

Here is a 1950 Wade Tailor from the Nursery Rhyme series.

As i just said it is rom the 1950 and is very collectable.

The Nursery Rhyme Figurine Set were produced by Wade Heath & Company Ltd. It was one of a series of eight young boys dressed in adult costume based on the 1940's children’s rhyme “Tinker, tailor, soldier, sailor, rich man, poor man, beggar man, thief.

The Tinker i have for sale is a hollow based figurine measuring approx 3 1/4" high and is signed Wade Tailor on the underside.

It is in perfect condition with no chips crack or crazing.

This item does not come up for auction often and would be a real shame to miss out.

The value of this piece is anything between £75.00-£150.00.

The wade company was established in 1810 by Henry Hallam and produced ceramic industrial fittings. The company moved to Burslem and it was taken over and called Wade & Colclough in 1867.[3] John Wade started his own company in 1887 called Wade & Co.[3]

By the 1940s there were three Wade pottery factories owned by brothers William, Albert J and George Wade, who were John Wade's three nephews.[3] A fourth factory was started in the 1950s in Ireland.

Wade became very popular especially in the late 80's and early 90's but is less so at present.
