1920-30 Nivada Watch Company Platinum and Diamond Wrist watch

Here is a Art Deco Platinum and diamond Wrist watch made by the Nivada Watch Co. of Switzerland in the late 1920s.

It has a high-grade Seventeen Jewel Baguette movement is finished with 26 Genuine Diamonds that adorn the bezel.

The watch itself measures 30mm end to end and 10.5mm in width (12mm with winding crown)original ivory color, matte enamel finished dial is in excellent condition.



It is complete with unblemished black enamel numerals, a 60 minute checkered outer track border and original blued steel Spade-style hands.

It is signed SWISS at the base of the dial.

The glass face is a flawless solid glass crystal.

The hinged-back, rectangular-form case is Solid Platinum and in excellent order as well, featuring a total of 26 genuine diamonds weighing .55 to .60 points in total.

The matching winding crown is in excellent and operates smoothly.

The Seventeen Jewel movement is signed NIVDA W. CO., 17 JEWELS SEVENTEEN - SWISS. The inside of the case lid is stamped 10% IRID. – PLAT


The watch does not come with its original strap which is a slight shame.

The Nivada watch company was founded in 1879 in Switzerland. The watch maker has been making quality time pieces since then and is world renowned for its workmanship.
