Roamer watch company watches: Gents 1950's 17 jewel

Here is a vintage swiss gold plated gents Roamer watch with leather strap.

It has a 17 jewel swiss movement which is fully working and keeps good time.

The dial is an off white almost cream colour with black painted numbers.

The hands are gold metal (possibly gold plate) both the hands and dial are in good condition.

On the dial it is written Roamer 17 jewel.

The case is gold plated with a snap back style back.

The gold plate is largely intact but has some minor wear in places.

Roamer Watch company was founded in 1888 by Fritz meyer. It is a genuine Swiss company that has been trading since then.

The most famous movements by Roamer are the "Meyer & Studeli" (MST) and are the most highly sought after.

It is valued at £30-£40

It is 1940s not 1950s, the MST 352/364 was phased out well before 1950. I also think your value is a little low - I would expect that one to command a premium due to the radial numbers and deco dial.
